Run Time: 2 hours 10 minutes
Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok, the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization, at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela.
Thor: Ragnarok is very entertaining
Thor, Loki, Valkyrie lady, and Bruce Banner/Hulk all have great chemistry
Hela definitely is portrayed well as a formidable force
Hela single-handedly takes down an entire army, as she has done countlessly in her past.
This past is dark and interesting to learn about, in terms of the Thor lore.
Thor is basically defeated while his hammer destroyed. Which leads to the interesting fight and scenes with Hulk. Later on we learn more of Valkyrie. They form the ‘Revengers’.
Thor is extremely powerful. However, after seeing this film, you realize that his true potential hasn’t been on film much at all.
His true God of Thunder prowess is displayed at the climactic conclusion of this film.
Definitely builds more intrigue to the following films featuring Thor, one of those being Avengers: Infinity War.
Music was great.
There are two extra scenes. One post-initial credits and another at the end of all the credits
Dr. Strange makes a cameo, which is entertaining too. Interesting to see how he plays a part in Avengers: Infinity War potentially.
Decent pacing, while being entertaining
Many great new characters and features of the familiar
Alright comedic bits, with still great action
